Account & Data Deletion
How to request deletion of your Aerish Academy account and personal data, and which data we retain due to legal obligations.
1. Summary
You may request deletion of your account and personal data from Aerish Academy. Because Aerish is multi-tenant, some data is managed by the school as Data Controller, so some requests are forwarded to your school.
2. How to Request
- Through your app/account settings (where available); or
- By contacting your school; or
- By emailing [email protected] or WhatsApp +62 899-4237-764, stating your account identity for verification.
3. Data That Is Deleted
After verification, we delete or anonymize profile and personal data no longer needed, including profile photos and preferences.
4. Data We Retain
Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate interests, such as financial/payment records, audit/security logs, and dispute resolution, for the necessary period.
5. Process & Timing
Initial deletion uses a soft delete mechanism, then may be permanently removed per our retention policy. We process requests within a reasonable time after identity verification.
6. Identity Verification
To protect your account, we may request information to verify that the request comes from the data owner or an authorized guardian.
